Celebrate September being Farm-to-Fork month with local culinary and agricultural festivities happening in and around the Sacramento community!
“Farm-to-Fork isn’t a passing fad or a marketing slogan in the Sacramento region – it’s the way we live. Our region has been an agricultural powerhouse for centuries, boasting a year-round growing season, ideal climate and a mouth-watering bounty of crops. Chances are, if you’re enjoying a meal in the Sacramento region, it came from a local farm.”
It’s here! September is Farm-to-Fork Month and we could not be more excited! In celebration of the delicious bounty harvesting in our own backyard, Farm-to-Fork month is a time to make the most of our good fortune and enjoy the festivities hosted by the Sacramento Convention & Visitors Bureau and surrounding communities. We encourage you to participate in the festivities at one (or all) of the events they’re putting on this month!
and many more!
“The Sacramento region’s Farm-to-Fork Program serves as a year-round platform to highlight the farms, restaurants, organizations and individuals that contribute to the local culinary and agricultural landscapes. The program is housed within the Sacramento Convention & Visitors Bureau and works to increase awareness of the region’s unmatched prowess when it comes to fresh food.”
